The Toulon community association world made its return on the occasion of the 7th edition of its annual Forum. The event, which had attracted more than 12,000 visitors last year, was once again held at the Palais des Congrès Neptune.

This day stood out as a major event for residents wishing to discover the richness of the local fabric, sign up for a new activity, or get involved in volunteering.

A varied range of associations

Thus, 353 associations were present, divided into ten major themes: culture, sport, solidarity, health, family, disability, leisure, seniors, proximity, as well as sustainable development and the place of animals in the city. This diversity reflects the dynamism of the actors who bring life in Toulon to life throughout the year.

A first for the Marine nationale

A major novelty of this 2026 edition, the Marine nationale participated for the first time in the event. Around thirty of its associations and sections, notably sports and cultural sections of the Club Sportif et Artistique de la Marine (CSAM), were present to showcase their activities.

This unprecedented participation aimed to strengthen the historical ties between the maritime community and the local association world, both deeply rooted in the life of the port city.

Demonstrations and activities

To allow the public to visualize, nearly a hundred associations offered activities and workshops throughout the day. Visitors watched or participated in demonstrations of dance, music, theater, martial arts, gymnastics, fencing, or even yoga.

Dedicated spaces will also be set up inside the Palais des Congrès, with a 'zen' room for yoga and stretching, an auditorium for martial arts, as well as rooms for workshops, conferences, and board games such as chess or bridge.

Inform, recruit, and encourage volunteering

The Forum des associations pursued a three-fold purpose. First, it aimed to inform the public about the range of activities available in Toulon.

It was also a special opportunity for organizations looking to recruit new members by creating direct and friendly contact.

Finally, the event aimed to encourage volunteering by connecting people wishing to give their time with the associations that need active members to carry out their projects.
