At the Amicale des Commandos d’Afrique, Yves Boyer's final report
The Amicale des Commandos d’Afrique will hold its general assembly on August 14 to renew its governing bodies.

The Amicale Régimentaire des Anciens du 1er Groupe des Commandos d’Afrique et du 3ème Groupement de Choc will meet for its annual general assembly on Friday, August 14, at 10 a.m., in the village hall of Bormes-les-Mimosas.
This statutory meeting, chaired by François Bonin, promises to be a pivotal moment for the association, on the eve of the important Liberation ceremonies.
Agenda
The assembly will begin with the welcoming of civil and military authorities, before the official opening of the proceedings by the president.
In accordance with the association's statutes, the agenda includes the presentation of essential reports. President François Bonin will present the moral report, which outlines the achievements, orientations and values upheld by the organization.
The secretary general, Yves Boyer, will then detail the activity report for the past year, while the treasurer, Patrice Caserio, will present the financial report. An auditor will also present his conclusions.
These various reports will be submitted to a vote by the members present or represented, a key democratic moment to validate the management of the past year.
Passing of the torch
This general assembly will be marked by a special dimension, as it will see Yves Boyer present his final activity report as secretary general. In office since 2019, he will step down after thirty-two years of dedication to preserving the memory of the liberating commandos.
The election of the outgoing third of the board of directors and the composition of the new bureau will therefore be an important issue for the continuity of the association's actions.
One of the major points of this meeting will be the detailed presentation of the program for the Liberation ceremonies, scheduled from August 14 to 23. This annual highlight, which mobilizes all members, is at the heart of the association's mission of remembrance.
The authorities present will also have the opportunity to speak before the closing of the proceedings, scheduled for 11:45 a.m. A reception will conclude this morning of review and outlook.
