After three successful years, Tristan Bonis leaves Le Grand Bleu cinema, replaced by Simon Henry, who will ensure continuity.
A new chapter has opened for the cinema "Le Grand Bleu" in Le Lavandou. Tristan Bonis, who had managed the establishment since its opening in 2021, has handed over to Simon Henry.
This change of management comes at a time when the cinema is experiencing growing attendance, confirming its central place in local cultural life.
A remarkable track record
Arriving in 2021 for the launch of this new cultural venue, as an extension of the Théâtre de Verdure, Tristan Bonis quickly won the hearts of Le Lavandou film lovers. Born in 1994 in Rouen, this young academic began his career at "Noé Cinéma" in 2014.
Under his direction, "Le Grand Bleu" showed constant dynamism, peaking in 2025 with over 90,000 admissions recorded, a real success for an establishment of this size.
This positive track record now opens the doors to a new challenge: since August 1, Tristan Bonis has taken the reins of a large cinema complex in the Paris region. His time in Le Lavandou remains marked by his professionalism and the strong ties he built with the local community.
Succession in continuity
To succeed him, the choice fell on a figure already well known to the establishment. Simon Henry, who had held seasonal and intern positions within the cinema for five years as part of his master's degree validation, has taken over the management of the establishment.
This internal promotion ensures a smooth transition. Having a perfect knowledge of the cinema's operations and its public, Simon Henry is now at the head of a team he knows well, which includes Sarah Lucas.
The objective is to build on the success achieved in recent years and to continue making "Le Grand Bleu" a place of life and sharing for all residents of Le Lavandou.
