With a historic score of 11 million votes for the Rassemblement National in the European election, the French people clearly showed their rejection of the pseudo presidential majority.
The appeal of consciences
With the alliance of dishonor between Macron and Mélenchon, which enabled a historic score for Islamo-leftism on July 7, what can be said about all these right-wing politicians, left-wing artists, and other left-wing athletes who set themselves up as guides of conscience? Against the interests of the French people, the world of media, sport, and culture called to vote for the far left.
Triggering the satisfaction of François Hollande who, re-elected in his constituency of Corrèze, asserted that "the left must be proud to have blocked the far right"!
They only ask to be heard on their concerns (purchasing power, security, immigration, etc.).
Yet, 11 million French people voted for the right, despite the injunctions, despite the scheming of politicians. They only ask to be heard on their concerns (purchasing power, security, immigration, etc.).
A significant progression
Thus, between the first round of the legislative elections of 2022 and that of 2024, the total of right-wing votes rose from 37.67% to 45.12% of the votes cast. This progression is explained by the surge in votes for candidates classified as far-right by the ministère de l'Intérieur.
The total of votes in favor of far-right candidates rose from 24.05% to 34.44%. Meanwhile, the votes for the parties of the governing right (Les Républicains, LR, divers droite and UDI) fell from 13.62% to 10.68%.
Opposite, the score of the left (Nouveau Front populaire, divers gauche candidates, radical left, and far left) remained stable between June 2022 and June 2024 (from 30.53% to 30.91%). Ultimately, the right-wing votes thus remain far higher than the left-wing votes. The gap has widened significantly to the benefit of all right-wing forces.
An unprecedented institutional situation
Meanwhile, Emmanuel Macron wrote to the French people and revived political tensions! In a letter with surreal content, he disputed the victory of the left in the legislative elections and defended a broad rally with the political forces that recognize themselves in the republican institutions. Which, in his eyes, excludes the RN and LFI.
At this hour, it is therefore premature to speculate on the appointment of a Prime Minister. According to the constitution, the Parlement must meet before a new government can be considered. It is the novelty of the institutional situation that promises a co-habitation in a coalition situation.
