A Non-Representative Assembly
The other evening on television, Macron shared his motivations: "I made the choice to dissolve, in good conscience, with great seriousness, because the National Assembly no longer corresponded to French society." He added: "Everyone was telling us that in the autumn the motion of censure would come (...). I took my responsibilities by asking Frenchwomen and Frenchmen to choose."
Verdict of the ballot box: France has a non-representative assembly, marked by great disorder. With three votes that sanctioned him, Emmanuel Macron has put us in a real mess. Worse, we have inherited a real shambles, marked, to be more trivial, by the chaos created by the left and the far left.
Even worse! These MPs do not even have the minimum Republican politeness to shake the hand of a young 25-year-old MP, designated as a scrutineer for the counting of votes.
Betrayal and Strategic Withdrawals
On the day after the first round of the legislative elections, symbolized by an exceptional score for the Rassemblement National, more than a hundred candidates from the left and the movement of the former presidential minority withdrew in favor of the left and the far left! On the evening of July 7, it did not take five minutes for the elected officials of this pseudo Republican front to forget their values and their ideas!
These elected representatives of the right and center, who pretend to oppose LFI representatives, were elected with the votes of their favorite opponents! A disgrace! What would one not do for a comfortable parliamentary allowance, paid with taxpayer money! These elected representatives of the right and center have betrayed their voters and, above all, their convictions!
The Anger of the Voters
The message of the French was clear with an unequivocal result. According to the Ministry of the Interior, the votes classified as far-right represent 10,150,933 votes, those of the other right-wing parties 2,493,493 votes, making a total of 12,644,426 votes for the right. Opposite them, the total for the left represents 7,440,492 votes!
Yaël Braun Pivet was re-elected, with a narrow majority. But, unlike in 2022, there is no RN MP in a vice-president position. The RN denounced a democratic scandal, the result of agreements made between Macron and the Républicains, which, in the long term, could even lead to a government coalition.
By expressing the desire to prevent a fair representation of 11 million French people, the far left and the far center are only increasing the anger of voters of the right and the Rassemblement National. French people who want to be listened to, in the face of the economic debacle of our country. They want to be heard on sluggish purchasing power, non-existent security, uncontrolled immigration, the creeping Islamization of our neighborhoods, violence in the streets, etc.
After his masterstroke, the master of clocks asks the Republican forces to build a solid majority and a political truce for the Olympic Games. We can always dream!
