A new partnership for access to TER tickets
On June 25, the Région Sud voted to extend its network of TER points of sale. La Poste thus becomes a new key partner in this scheme.
Starting from September 2025, and in a phased manner, it will be possible to buy TER tickets in 26 La Poste offices. These offices are located in municipalities that have a station, but do not have a TER ticket office or have limited opening hours.
“This partnership with La Poste, anchored in our territories, meets a priority: guaranteeing equitable access to public services, including in rural areas.”
The first municipalities affected by this measure have been identified. These include Sisteron and La Brillanne (Alpes-de-Haute-Provence), Aspres, Serres, Chorges and Veynes (Hautes-Alpes), Cagnes, Breil-sur-Roya, Tende, La Trinité, L'Escarène, Sospel, Villeneuve-Loubet, Biot (Alpes-Maritimes).
Other municipalities are also included: Martigues, Cassis, Istres, Sausset, Vitrolles, Tarascon, Salon, Port-de-Bouc (Bouches-du-Rhône), Sorgues, Bollène, Pertuis (Vaucluse) and La Garde (Var).
Priority to strategic axes and local actors
The reopening of the Nice - Tende railway line, scheduled for December 15, 2025, prompts special attention on the stations of this axis. This partnership is part of a broader approach already open to Offices de Tourisme, Maisons France Service, or local transport ticket offices.
These local actors play an essential role by enabling the sale of TER tickets. The objective is to make train access easier for all residents of the Région Sud.
Shared values at the service of the territories
Renaud Muselier, President of the Région Sud, welcomed this initiative as a concrete solution for TER users. Léa Léger-Zurfluh, Executive Director Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur of La Poste, expressed pride in collaborating with the Région Sud and SNCF Voyageurs.
She highlighted the role of La Poste as a link between public services and citizens. Delphine Couzi, Regional Director SNCF Voyageurs TER Sud, concluded by stating that this partnership reflects shared values at the service of the territories. The ambition is to make mobility sustainable, simple, and accessible to everyone.
