The stakes of the March municipal elections
With the March municipal elections approaching, the policy pursued by Emmanuel Macron towards local authorities justifies a rejection of his supporters. This notably concerns the Socialists, Greens, Communists and Insoumis, as well as the Centrists close to Bayrou.
Political parties, such as Reconquête, encourage their members and supporters to get actively involved in the campaign. The goal is to support the right-wing lists best suited to defend the values of freedom, order, security, work, and the Gaullist economic and social principles.

Major cities in the spotlight
The major stakes will concern large cities, particularly Paris, Lyon and Marseille. The law provides for restoring a direct link between voters and their municipal council in these cities.
The so-called "PLM" law of 1982 has been reformed and approved by the Conseil Constitutionnel. In March, it will allow the election of Paris councillors and municipal councillors of Lyon and Marseille by direct universal suffrage. Representatives in these three cities will be elected by their inhabitants via two separate votes.
After a quarter of a century on the right, then a quarter of a century on the left, can Paris swing back to the right? First polls indicate that in the majority of large cities, the left will run divided, with potential alliances in the second round.
A call for civic engagement
For the Right, the priority objective is to prevent the election of LFI or Green mayors and to promote political change in historically right-wing cities. Candidates from the Rassemblement national (RN) will remain at a local disadvantage, while the influence of the Macronists is expected to decrease.
The Association des maires de France (AMF) has launched a major campaign to recall a simple idea: go vote, join a Municipal Council, participate in community life. These actions contribute to collective life and give meaning to local action.
With the slogan "Citizens, dare to commit! Your municipality needs you", this campaign is aimed at all generations and seeks to encourage involvement.
Philippe de Villiers, for his part, draws a relentless assessment of the situation in France. He calls for a vital surge and the emergence of a leader capable of preserving the country. Municipal and presidential elections are all good reasons to invest oneself for France.
