200 children and teenagers, supervised by 23 activity leaders and 4 MNS, had a great holiday!
Travel diary. With children and teenagers laughing and looking cheerful, youth are experiencing an enchanted interlude during their school holidays in the three facilities of the nursery, elementary leisure centre, or the "teens" club. Under the responsibility of Frédérique Cervantes, city councillor, and Nathalie Maréchal, the director, young people are becoming more and more numerous during the summer period.
This summer, there were nearly 200 of them, aged 3 to 17. For cultural, creative and discovery workshops, or learning to ride horses. The program also included evening gatherings with parents (invited), outings and, above all, a trip to Kronberg, the German town twinned with Le Lavandou.
Ainsi, si la 33ème Olympiade reste le fil conducteur pour certains, pour d'autres le choix s'est porté sur des activités sportives, ludiques et culturelles, des ateliers créatifs, de découvertes ou l'apprentissage de l'équitation. Le programme comportait également des veillées avec les parents (invités), des sorties et, surtout, un voyage à Kronberg, la ville allemande jumelée avec le Lavandou. Au retour de Kronberg, le constat était unanime, comme responsable du séjour : « Nous avons reçu un extraordinaire accueil et vécu un super programme. Les enfants ont été chouchoutés et nous avons remercié Camille, c'est à dire Miss Lavandou 2024 qui a partagé une partie de sa dotation d'élection pour offrir des gourmandises sur place. Ce fut une magnifique semaine et nous avons noué des contacts très chaleureux ».
For supervision, the Ville recruited 23 activity leaders, reinforced by 4 MNS, who supervised swimming lessons at the temporary pool. These teams pleasantly complemented the enthusiasm of the year-round instructors. Always in search of novelty and originality, they sought to offer an entertainment program marked by an undeniable richness of exchanges.
MEMORABLE TRIP TO KRONBERG Thus, while the 33rd Olympiad remained the guiding thread for some, for others the choice fell on sports, fun and... Upon returning from Kronberg, the observation was unanimous, as indicated by Alyzée, the activity leader in charge of the stay: "We received an extraordinary welcome and experienced a great program.
The children were pampered and we thanked Camille, i.e. Miss Lavandou 2024, who shared part of her election prize money to offer treats on site. It was a magnificent week and we established very warm contacts."
Other teenagers still remember the magnificent trip to New-York in the spring, completed in July by their presence in Marseille for the France-USA Olympic Games match. "We were delighted with this continuity since we had attended a first game during our trip to the USA. This match, just like the atmosphere, was great," they commented.
