Apéritifs at the Cave, wine cruises, participation in the Cooparade, La Londe Jazz Festival, or the boxing gala, the Cave des Vignerons Londais promoted londais wines in the most beautiful way throughout this summer season.

“Thanks to the quality of our rosé, red, and white wines and our decision not to increase our prices, the results are very satisfying, with an increase in attendance, average basket value, and sales growth,” welcomes François de Canson, the mayor and president of the Cave. CONVIVIAL EVENINGS A promotion of local wines that attracted many summer visitors: “We organized six ‘apéros vignerons’ from mid-July to mid-August at the cellar. Six Thursdays that gathered between 250 and 500 people each time, around a tasting of four wines,” adds Eric Dusfourd, director of the Cave des Vignerons Londais.

He adds: “The wine cruises, coastal trips up to cap Bénat, with tastings of wines from the Cave, were fully booked.” With nearly 100 participants for each outing, and even 200 people during the fireworks on July 14 and August 17, these original and friendly evenings, operated by the Bateliers de la Côte d'Azur, came to an end on August 21.

Now, the winemakers are busy with the harvest: “It began for 5 weeks on August 16 for our 42 cooperators, representing about 300 hectares of vineyards.

The grapes are beautiful, healthy, and ripe, for a harvest that already promises to be great in both quantity and quality,” enthuses François de Canson.
