4 units of the Force d'action navale based in Toulon and the Indian Ocean have changed commanders.

INDIAN OCEAN Change of command ceremonies are a highlight for the units of the Marine nationale and their crews, who must "obey him in everything he commands them for the good of the service, the execution of military regulations, the observation of laws, and the success of the arms of France". On July 24, Rear Admiral Éric Lavault, organic deputy for seabed warfare to the admiral commanding the Force d'action navale, formally recognized Lieutenant Commander (CC) Pierre-Henri Fichot as commander of the Chasseur de mines tripartite (CMT) Lyre, succeeding Lieutenant Commander (CC) Maxime Brenez. During the 12 months of command of CC Maxime Brenez, the sailors of the Lyre participated in three mine warfare missions in the Var approaches, a deployment under NATO command in Spain, and were deployed for three months in the Indian Ocean to conduct mine warfare operations with regional partners.

Originally from Normandie, CC Pierre-Henri Fichot completed his schooling in Caen to enter the École navale in 2003. During the 2006-2007 campaign on the helicopter carrier Jeanne d'Arc, he chose the submarine forces and the specialty of anti-submarine warfare (LSM). His first assignment in 2007 took him to Cherbourg on the public service patrol boat (PSP) Cormoran.
From 2009 to 2016, he served on the nuclear attack submarines (SNA) Perle then Saphir, from the Mediterranean to the Indian Ocean, and on a nuclear-powered ballistic missile submarine (SNLE). In 2016, he joined Toulon for two years and the maritime operations center (COM) before joining the La Fayette-type frigate (FLF) Guépratte as deputy crew commander, with which he was deployed in the Mediterranean and the Indian Ocean.
In 2020, he joined the surveillance frigate (FS) Floréal in Réunion where he served as second-in-command, before joining in 2022, again as second-in-command, the force replenishment vessel (BRF) Jacques Chevallier.
Lieutenant Commander Pierre-Henri Fichot is married and the father of five children.
