8,000 spectators won over under the pinewood of l'Argentière
From August 1st to 4th, the 15th edition of La Londe Jazz Festival highlighted the work of volunteers.
As Christophe Dal Sasso, creator and director of the festival, points out: "Jazz is not an elitist and inaccessible universe, but a music of energy, communication, and sharing. Jazz is experiencing a beautiful evolution with French artists who are gradually bringing other colors, and they are the ones who interest us"!
"We highlight musicians who have little or no access to the stages of major festivals and can thus reveal the full richness of their talent. That too is the spirit of La Londe Jazz," continues the festival director.
Building on its success, La Londe Jazz Festival welcomed, every evening, between 1,500 and 2,000 spectators, facing the sea, under the splendid pinewood of l'Argentière. At the end of the festival, Christophe Dal Sasso asked the audience to give an ovation to the hundred or so volunteers present over the four days: "Volunteers without whom nothing would be possible, who allow La Londe Jazz Festival to continue, which has become the meeting place for an audience captivated by its programming, its atmosphere, and its authenticity."
Finally, each evening was preceded by the Apéros Jazz, organized in partnership with the winegrowers of the AOC - Côtes de Provence La Londe.
