Wonderful encounters and great emotions!
From September 13 to 15, this 2nd edition brought wonderful encounters and great emotions!

Ranked as the 2nd best diving site in the Méditerranée with 12 wrecks in its Baie, Cavalaire stands out for its underwater beauty. Breathtaking drop-offs and rocks, exceptional fauna and flora, and crystal-clear waters. In 2023, the Ville and the Office de Tourisme created the Festival Passion Méditerranée, whose goal is to reveal this underwater wealth to the general public. Indeed, scuba diving remains a confidential field. Yet, it is a hobby accessible to all that allows us to open up to the world around us, to become aware of the fragility of our environment to move forward, step by step, towards concrete actions to protect the seabed. This weekend was therefore dedicated to diving and non-motorized water sports, hosting numerous events for the general public around the Méditerranée. Conferences, virtual reality exhibitions, and introductory sessions punctuated these two days. After a first edition under the patronage of Jean-Marc Barr, this year, Eric Serra, composer of the music for the film "Le Grand Bleu", was the patron of the festival. In addition, throughout the weekend, the city welcomed several big names in diving, imagery, and music, such as Christian Petron, famous director and director of photography, Bernard Abeille and Luc Baiwir, two world-famous musicians for their compositions based on underwater sounds, André Claros of the Musée BUCAM de Barcelone, Pierre Yves le Marec, a passionate collector, Claude Chapuis, a freediving specialist, and François Brun, a specialist in underwater.
