Curious, the two accomplices came to find out what the Romans are preparing on the southern opposite side of their village. Such was their surprise upon discovering this marvel, a small Provençal Venice, labeled 20th Century Heritage.
Garantix. By Toutatis, all these pastel and ochre houses, it's like a rainbow! Armonix. And all different, not like the boring Roman houses.
And those roofs, they are so staggered! Garantix. It's to avoid uniformity.
In the end here, everything is like in a well-balanced magic potion. Armonix.
And these canals, you can sail everywhere! Garantix. It was designed so that the inhabitants could travel by boat to go to the market, to the beach, to visit other villagers, or to the druid!
We could do like them in the village. Armonix. And the boats, they are well protected from storms and strong winds. It's magical!
Garantix. Even the bridges are like scenery. No passage for heavy Roman chariots here.
Armonix. This harmony between land and water, it's as if nature and humans lived in peace, like us with the wild boars.
Garantix. Port-Grimaud is a work of art, protected by law, like our village by the magic potion.

They dream of an eco-responsible city with gentle mobility. Armonix.
I also heard that they demand respect. Respect for the environment, for the inhabitants, and for dialogue.

Port-Grimaud is a private lakeside city, where harmony between land and water is essential. A true Gaulish adventure!
Armonix. They also want to adapt ship traffic to protect their infrastructure.
They even want to remove the floating pontoon to go back to how it was before, like in the time of the architect who designed the inland lake. It must have been so beautiful.
Garantix. They also demand respect for today's constructions and peace and quiet for the residents.
Favoring sailing boats and reducing polluting boats. They do not want big boats like in Saint-Tropez.
Armonix. They want adapted mooring agreements and real dialogue for the management of the body of water.

I understand that the indomitable Gauls of Port-Grimaud continue to want to live in harmony like us, protected by their gentle architecture, their magical canals, and their respect for the environment. Even the young people want to preserve the dream and the joys of their parents and grandparents who helped lift this treasure out of the marshes.
