Local and intercommunal associations gathered at the Forum

This September 1st symbolized a great Sunday as it brought together most of the associations from Bormes-les-Mimosas and Le Lavandou working within the intercommunal area. In the presence of Christian Simon, departmental councillor, and Gil Bernardi, mayor of Le Lavandou, François Arizzi, mayor of Bormes-les-Mimosas, inaugurated the Forum under a blazing sun, surrounded by a crowd of visitors. Indeed, as at the start of every school year, the public is looking for leisure and sports activities.

COMMITMENT OF VOLUNTEERS Presenting the 2024-2025 guide, which features more than 80 associations, François Arizzi highlighted the dedication of volunteers who offer a wide range of activities throughout the year: "Their associations are often on the front line to meet the needs of our community. They build connections, promote mutual aid, and allow everyone to find their place. In these times of multiple challenges, their commitment is more precious than ever.

"Whether our associations are cultural, sports, charitable, environmental, commemorative, or educational, each one contributes to strengthening the social fabric of our towns. These forums are a true celebration of commitment, diversity, and solidarity within each of these associations but also between our two municipalities."
