From all over Var, people came to the Alsatian market!
For the tenth year, the Fédération des Artisans et Producteurs d’Alsace set up on Esplanade Sainte-Estelle, inviting the Cavalairois and visitors...
From October 18 to 20, a folklore troupe, crafts, tartes flambées, choucroute, Alsatian biscuits, jams and, of course, Alsace wines were on offer thanks to more than a dozen producer stands. Visitors, who came from all over Var, could also taste the traditional choucroute and other famous specialties of Alsace. The highlight of this edition was a raffle with a prize of a 4-night stay in a gîte with an Alsatian meal for two in Obernai. Every day, there was also a gift basket filled with Alsatian products to be won. It was won by a visitor from Fréjus. There were also magnificent prizes to celebrate the tenth anniversary of this event, including a trip to be won! Not to mention the choucroute party, replaced by an Alsatian evening event on Esplanade Sainte Estelle with Alsatian specialties to discover and taste in the dining area. All in a musical and festive atmosphere. The organizers thus wish to offer a festive and gastronomic weekend eagerly awaited by everyone each year. And Philippe Leonelli promised: 'Next year, the Alsatian market will be even bigger'!
