This donation box is available to passengers throughout the year, allowing them to express their solidarity by making a donation before flying to their destination. This initiative, carried out in collaboration with the Mairie de Hyères and the Rotary Club de Hyères-les-Palmiers (RCH), aims to support the families and children of sapeurs-pompiers who died or were seriously injured in the line of duty.
This collected sum was topped up by a donation from the Rotary Club, before being handed over to the UDSP du Var. Through this initiative, Toulon Hyères airport confirms its commitment to the territory, by providing special support to local causes.
This is confirmed by Basma Jarbouai, director of Toulon Hyères airport – VINCI Airports: "We are happy to be able to support local associations involved in charitable activities by offering them visibility among our passengers."
