An unexpected professional career change for Eve Favereau
A native of Bordeaux living in the South of France for 20 years, Eve Favereau gained varied professional experience before settling in La Londe...

After working for AZUREVA in La Londe and Cavalaire, as well as in Le Pradet and Fréjus, and then for about ten years on the Var-Matin delivery platform as a logistics manager, at the age of 40, she decided to retrain in the marine, aviation, and outdoor upholstery sector, without following a traditional vocational training path.
"After presiding over the Pitchouns community nursery for six months, I needed to find something I was passionate about. And it was thanks to a shoemaker that I discovered upholstery. However, I did not undergo training at the CFA de La Seyne-sur-Mer, preferring to learn directly from a professional," Eve explains.

NEED TO REINVENT ONESELF "Professional life is paved with decisive choices. Sometimes, you feel the need to reinvent yourself. So, I turned towards the captivating and inspiring sector of upholstery, a demanding and diverse but always rewarding discipline.
Learning this trade came from my meeting with Tom Buffard from Azur Concept Sellerie, in La Londe-les-Maures, an upholsterer trained by the Compagnons du Devoir. This collaboration allowed me to benefit, right from the start, from learning the craft according to the state of the art. And every day is an opportunity to perfect my skills," says the young woman.
Indeed, after she explained her project to him, the manager of Azur Concept Sellerie agreed to train her in this art craft by signing a partnership agreement.
"Under the sole proprietor status, this agreement allows me to be trained in the workshop. Thanks to this flexibility, I can practice while being supported and trained. This partnership is active both for my own clients and for the projects I collaborate on.
However, my next step is to take my CAP exam as an independent candidate in June 2025," announces the business owner.

RIGOROUS AND PROFESSIONAL Sailing and water sports enthusiasts will find a professional at their service at Sellerie Varoise, thanks to a wide range of skills, from the design to the custom manufacturing of upholstery equipment. Furthermore, Eve works in collaboration with her private and professional clients to best meet their needs and expectations. "I meet their custom upholstery needs in boating, motorcycling, outdoor, and medical fields.
Their satisfaction is at the core of my approach. Each project is a story, and I build it with them! From the rigorous selection of materials to the meticulous finish, each step is executed to meet the high standards of the products," assures the young woman.
Passionate, rigorous, and professional, the diversity of her skills represents a commitment to excellence. She operates in the main municipalities of Var: La Londe-les-Maures, Hyères, Bormes-les-Mimosas, Le Lavandou, Carqueiranne, etc.
