The Toulon Naval Base opened its doors to young people
On November 14, the Toulon naval base opened its doors for the 3rd edition of the Forum des métiers de la Marine in Toulon.

The Navy offered a day rich in interactions, allowing many young people to explore the professional adventure offered by the Marine nationale. Thus, young people aged 16 to 30 were able to meet the sailors and visit the force replenishment vessel (BRF) Jacques Chevallier. Also on the program: weapons and electronic targets demonstrations, virtual reality tours, and operational unit demonstrations. During this day, the young people were able to talk with sailors from all the Navy forces (surface, submarines, aéronautique navale, fusiliers-marins, marins-pompiers) and gain a better understanding of Navy careers. By the close of registration, there were more than 2,500 of them coming from four departments (Var, Bouches-du-Rhône, Vaucluse, and Alpes-Maritimes) and determined to discover the 80 professions on offer. Indeed, the Navy is an employer with undeniable assets in terms of job interest, quality of training, and career progression opportunities. By opening its doors to several hundred young people, the Toulon naval base wished to promote its job opportunities and attract candidates tempted by a career in the Navy.
