Around forty artists exhibit at villa Théo
The "Regards sur le Lavandou" exhibition launches the cultural events of 2025.
RENOWNED SEASIDE RESORT
Despite the rain and gloomy weather, many lovers of culture and art discoveries gathered for the opening of the first exhibition of the year at the villa Théo art center in Saint-Clair. "Regards sur le Lavandou", the theme proposed by Raphaël Dupouy, the Town's cultural manager, did not leave lovers of the city of dolphins indifferent. With around forty works (paintings and photographs) belonging to the municipal collection as well as others borrowed from private collectors or belonging to families from Le Lavandou, this creates a very strong link between the richness of the territory and the history of the municipality. Thus, Nathalie Christien, municipal councillor delegated to entertainment and culture, emphasized: "This new display allows us to rediscover with emotion forgotten views and angles of the former small fishing port which has become, in a century, a major seaside resort still appreciated by artists." In the presence of Charlotte Bouvard, first deputy, and Cathy Casellato, deputy for culture of the town of Bormes-les-Mimosas, the elected representative advised coming from Tuesday to Saturday until next May 31 to soak in the creations signed by around forty artists' names. Guided tours are also available.

AFTER NEW YORK, THE CLUB ADOS FLIES TO LONDON IN SPRING
After New York in April 2024, the young residents of Le Lavandou, registered in the Club Ados, chose another popular Anglo-Saxon destination for the spring 2025 stay with a trip to London.
From April 7 to 12, they will discover the famous districts of the English capital (Piccadilly Circus, Soho, Notting Hill) and iconic buildings such as Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, St. Paul's Cathedral. They will also enjoy various experiences during a visit to the Harry Potter studios, a cruise on the Thames, or a visit to the Arsenal stadium. Supervised by the teams from the Town's Jeunesse et Sports department, the group is staying in a youth hostel in the heart of London.
