Organized by the parents of pupils of the PEEP, an association chaired by Sophie Di Cioccio, a raffle raised funds for the Œuvre des Pupilles Orphelins et le Fonds d'Entraide des Sapeurs-Pompiers de France (ODP France).

The loto and its raffle were a real success as the organizers collected an impressive total of 46 prizes, thanks to the wonderful generosity of many athletes and public figures. CHARLÈNE DE MONACO The firefighters also lent their support by providing the equipment needed for the event as well as their brand image, featuring the logo of the Union Départementale des Pompiers du Var and ODP France.

For his part, François de Canson, the mayor, played a key role by facilitating contacts with personalities, notably Princesse Charlène de Monaco, who signed two caps for the raffle. Thus, among the donations was a signed jersey and a ball, offered by Pascal Olmetta, former football player, as well as contributions from Adrien Rabiot, a player for the Équipe de France and Olympique de Marseille, who donated a signed jersey and ball.

The Rugby Club Toulonnais (RCT) also participated by donating 11 balls signed by its players. Other donations included football jerseys donated by the director of the Corsican company Eaux de Zilia, as well as a Coupe des Clubs Champions jersey from the match against Barcelone. In addition, Matthieu Smaili, a player for RCT, contributed a jersey and two balls. Finally, the artistic world followed, with video messages of support from singers such as Francine Massiani, Christine Chollet, or Yves Pujol, who donated CDs and t-shirts.

Stays offered by the Domaine Les Voiles de Pierrefeu-du-Var and Odalys also enhanced the raffle, as did the 30 caps provided by the Groupe Toyota. MAISON DES POMPIERS DU VAR The organizers had printed 500 tickets at €2, all of which were sold, and even beyond, thanks to additional donations.

The presentation of a check will take place soon at the Maison des pompiers in Vidauban, in the presence of the Union Départementale des Pompiers du Var, the SDIS du Var, and ODP France, as well as members of the PEEP. The funds raised will be allocated to ODP France to help firefighter orphans, notably for financing driving licenses, purchasing computers, or other support for firefighter orphans.

Another great moment charged with emotion featured the Association de Poterie Londaise, which created a firefighter helmet in its workshop. This emblematic object will be displayed in the office of the Maison des pompiers, symbolizing the collective commitment to this noble cause.

The PEEP succeeded in mobilizing parents around this initiative, proving that solidarity can make a difference.
