How to make boating industry careers more attractive? This event raised a question on the lips of all elected officials and boating industry players: "Boating in the golfe de Saint-Tropez by 2030 / 2050, what strategy for a more sustainable territory?"

An opportunity to mobilize partners and present to businesses the projects supported by the Communauté de communes. 300 ESTABLISHMENTS Today, in the golfe de Saint-Tropez, the boating industry is made up of human-sized businesses (with nearly 300 establishments) generating a turnover of around €200M in 2022. Concretely, the activity is divided into 5 major categories (studies and engineering, distribution, repair, maintenance and custom manufacturing, rental, concierge services, and transport and related services).

Repair and maintenance establishments are the most numerous (shipyards, service providers, subcontractors) as are the leisure bases located along the coastline, for an essentially seasonal activity.

In detail, the economic fabric consists of many VSEs, between 87% and 92%. A few SMEs, whose headquarters are outside the territory, are also present (CABESTO, LAPP MULLER, MONACO MARINE, SERVAUX YACHTING, WAUQUIEZ BOATS).
