UCPL in full preparation for the Maurin des Maures

This return to activity was all the more appreciated by the young cyclists as they took possession of their new jerseys. The outfits were presented to them in the presence of François de Canson, the mayor, municipal councilors, and parents. Indeed, as promised by the mayor, these outfits are offered by the Ville de La Londe. Once the new jerseys were on, the children and their supervisors set off for their training in the hills around the town. The group of the youngest 9-12 years old (13 cyclists) took the opportunity to scout the 18 km route that will be offered to them during the upcoming Maurin des Maures (April 13) on the site of la Brûlade. On this occasion, Hubert Larose, the club president, gave an update on the progress of the organization of this 24th Maurin des Maures. The president of UCPL explains: "The 5 routes are defined. The adult mountain bikers of the club will take advantage of the last days before April 13 to check all the tracks and, shears in hand, they will clear the trails, sometimes overgrown with abundant vegetation after this wet weather. All this work is done for the comfort of the participants. Furthermore, I am still looking for volunteers to complete our team of supervisors. Finally, for the walking hike, the Randonneurs Londais club will handle this activity as in previous editions."
