A festive and gourmet carnival
On March 8, the City vibrated to the rhythm of its traditional carnival, an event eagerly awaited by local residents.
Organized by the Comité des Fêtes du Pradet, in collaboration with the Conseil Municipal des Enfants (CME), this festive afternoon attracted over a thousand people, who came to enjoy the warmth of the spring sun and the friendly atmosphere. Starting at 2 p.m., participants gathered in the parc Cravéro to admire the colorful costumes. Children, parents, and volunteers took part in a joyful parade through the streets of Le Pradet, sharing joy and smiles to the rhythm of the batucada. A moment of sharing, laughter, and music that created a warm atmosphere.
MONDIAL DE LA CONFISERIE
This year, the carnival benefited from a touch of originality thanks to an initiative by the CME, supported by the Odel Var. Following the parade, the children participated in the first Mondial de la Confiserie. Thus, tasting and candy-making, crepe, and cotton candy stands delighted the taste buds of young and old alike. Children took part in workshops, learning to make sweet treats under the expert guidance of the animators. A feast for the senses where the pleasure of creating and savoring was at the heart of the event. After savoring these sweet delicacies, it was time to burn off some energy! Sports workshops were organized to allow participants to exert themselves while having fun. Outdoor games, races, and physical activities offered everyone the chance to move, let off steam, and share a great time with family or friends.
