Success for the Forum de la Parentalité et des Familles
On March 29, the City opened the Quinzaine des Familles with the inauguration of the Forum de la Parentalité et des Familles by Mayor Thierry Albertini.

In the Var, this key event, initiated in 2018 under the impetus of the Schéma Départemental des Services aux Familles (SDSF), and supported notably by the Caf, aims to strengthen the links between families and local parenting actors. Through a rich and varied program, the event is also part of a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) approach, highlighting eco-friendly and solidarity-based initiatives in the Var territory. WORKSHOPS, DEBATES AND CONFERENCES Organized in conjunction with the facilitators of the parenting network, the Quinzaine des Familles aims to break the isolation of families by offering them a meeting space with local parenting actors, facilitate access to the Réseau d'écoute, d'appui et d'accompagnement des parents (REAAP) to better support parents in their daily lives by making them aware of services "around their homes", create a local dynamic by uniting associations and organizations around a common project, and promote the initiatives and expertise of partners by highlighting their commitment to families.

In La Valette-du-Var, this is a must-attend event for parents, future parents, and everyone interested in the world of parenting. It attracted a large audience who enjoyed a day rich in exchanges and discoveries. "Visitors were able to participate in a multitude of activities (practical workshops, specialized conferences, storytelling, round tables, interactive theater, information booths, etc.)
This programming, designed for all ages and all families, met the expectations of the participants by addressing a wide variety of topics related to education, family relations, stress management, and child development," welcomed Thierry Albertini. At the end of the event, the mayor recalled the importance of this event: "Because every stage of parenting is an adventure, this forum offered a space rich in exchanges and discoveries around education, family relations, stress management, and much more." A message that resonated in the hearts of the many parents who were looking for practical answers to the daily challenges associated with parenting.
ISSUES OF PARENTING Sponsored by Professeur Michel Delage, the forum brought together key actors from the parenting and family well-being sector, including representatives from the Caf, the Croix-Rouge, the UDAF, the association des Doulas, Les Petits Chaperons Rouges, PARIH 83, and CAP PARENTS, to name but a few. These associations and public services offered concrete solutions and valuable information to support families on their journey. The Maison de la Petite Enfance and the Guichet Unique of the City also held booths to present the childcare options available in the municipality, whether occasional, family, or inclusive care.
An initiative that allows simpler access to support services for young children and their parents.

In short, the forum created a warm and friendly atmosphere, and the public was able to exchange with experts and share their experiences. Many visitors expressed their satisfaction, highlighting the importance of this event for a better understanding of parenting issues at every stage of family life.
