Orange launches two new eco-designed Livebox routers
The operator is boosting its Fibre offers without increasing prices and introducing Intelligent Wi-Fi 7.
Orange launches two Wi-Fi 7 Liveboxes: the New Livebox 7 and the Livebox S. Eco-designed and equipped with the latest Wi-Fi 7 technology. TV services enriched with five new channels, as well as a latest-generation TV decoder.

The New Livebox 7: The Livebox S: TWO LIVEBOX ROUTERS FOR AN EVEN HIGHER-PERFORMING CONNECTIVITY: Orange's premium Livebox that allows you to enjoy an ultra-fast connection with the latest-generation Wi-Fi 7, faster even in the rooms furthest from the Livebox, for all those who want to enjoy the best of Orange fibre and speeds up to 8 Gbps, guaranteeing an ultra-fast connection for all uses, even the most demanding. And, with an elegant design, intuitive and fully plug & play use, it installs in the blink of an eye and automatically reconnects all WiFi equipment.
With the New Livebox 7, the Livebox Up Fibre and Livebox Max Fibre triple play offers are enhanced, without any increase in the monthly price (1): The Livebox Max Fibre offer moves to Wi-Fi 7, with speeds of up to 8 Gbps, and remains available at the price of €47.99/month for 12 months, then €57.99/month for new customers. The Livebox Up Fibre offer sees its speeds multiplied by 4 (up to 8 Gbps) and moves to Wi-Fi 7. Its price remains unchanged at €39.99/month for 12 months, then €51.99/month for new customers.
The New Livebox 7 is available for new business customers with the Livebox Pro Fibre, Open Pro Fibre or Connect Pro Fibre offers starting from €43 excl. tax/month for 12 months, then €50 excl. tax/month (2).
The new Livebox, the core of Orange's range, replaces the Livebox 5 on the other triple play offers and features Wi-Fi 7 and speeds of up to 2 Gbps download and 800 Mbps upload. And, a simplified installation for the customer thanks to the optical pen technology built into the Livebox S.
Thanks to this technological innovation, designed and created by Orange, the fibre installation can be carried out without the intervention of an Orange technician at the customer's home, provided that their accommodation is already equipped with a fibre socket. The Livebox S, boosted with Wi-Fi 7, is offered without any increase in monthly price with the following offers: Livebox Fibre, whose download speed is doubled to reach up to 2 Gbps download (800 Mbps upload), at €39.99/month. Série Spéciale Livebox Fibre, with 1 Gbps download (700 Mbps upload), at €39.99/month.
Eco-designed Liveboxes: Orange is strengthening its commitment to reducing the environmental impact of its equipment, from design to recycling. Both new Liveboxes incorporate the advancements already introduced on the latest models: a recycled plastic casing, a low-energy E-ink screen, no electric fan, and optimized recycled cardboard packaging with no over-packaging. And, for these new editions of Livebox, Orange continues to innovate in terms of eco-design: the New Livebox 7 integrates the latest-generation Intelligent Wi-Fi which automatically deactivates the 5 GHz band when it is not needed, reducing power consumption by up to 30%.
Thanks to a brand-new industrial process, the power supplies of the Livebox 5 are refurbished for the Livebox S, following a quality control check. These numerous initiatives allow Orange to reduce the carbon footprint of both new Liveboxes over their entire lifecycle by 8% for the new Livebox 7 compared to the old model, and by 14% for the Livebox S compared to the Livebox 5.
This eco-design approach and the results obtained by Orange are certified by obtaining the Footprint progress label from Bureau Véritas, one of the most demanding labels in Europe.
TV services enriched with new channels, a latest-generation decoder, and special offers with the Décodeur TV 6, launched in 2024, available on the Livebox Up Fibre offer in addition to the Livebox Max Fibre offer. High-performing, it gives access to all streaming platforms and can be voice-controlled via the remote control or hands-free. , RFM, M6 Music. Paramount+ joins the list of platforms on which customers receive a €5/month discount with the Livebox Max offer, alongside Disney + and Netflix. More features: the "Restart program from the beginning" function and the "TV d'Orange" app on connected TVs, PCs, and mobile devices are now accessible at no extra cost for all TV d'Orange customers.
The Samsung UHD 4K 43'' TV is offered at the price of €19 (€449 retail price) for new customers subscribing to a Livebox + Smart TV offer with a 24-month commitment.
