Les Sirènes, the fruity and festive cuvée of your summer

La Cave des Vignerons Londais is a place where the transformation of grapes into wine works its magic. Eric Dusfourd, the director, recalls with enthusiasm: "La Cave des Vignerons Londais is one of those magical places where the mysterious transformation of grapes into wine takes place. At La Londe, we transform the fruit of the vine into pleasure." This summer, the Cave is offering a new festive and fruity cuvée: "Les Sirènes". This initiative was born from the imagination of Mélanie, the shop manager, who came up with the idea of an original label for a summer wine. Eric Dusfourd tells the story of how this project began: "Mélanie always has good ideas! The team was building on the momentum of the cuvée released after the health crisis, which was called: "Faites péter le rosé"! Les Sirènes is not an appellation wine, and we will be offering it for tasting during our summer aperitifs." Excited by this idea, the director gave free rein to his printer and graphic designer to design a beautiful label, under the watchful eye of Mélanie, the inspiration behind this entirely female project.

FEMININE TRIO

Mélanie explains: "We wanted to make a festive cuvée and meet the demand of our customers, especially women, who were looking for fruitier rosés and more festive wines. One of our cooperative members, Domaine de La Castille, had proposed a muscat rosé, and that is how the Cave created, this year, this Les Sirènes cuvée, a dry and fruity wine." She adds: "Since the cuvée went on sale, our customers have really liked it because it complements our range."

SUCCESS AMONG ENTHUSIASTS

Jean-Marc, a dedicated enthusiast, confirms: "What a lovely surprise, this beautiful bottle of "Les Sirènes" Rosé was recently given to me by a friend. Indeed, this very fruity rosé, delicious first as an aperitif and then highly appreciated during a barbecue, was simply a delight. Besides the originality of the label, it is an excellent local rosé that I highly recommend to any lover of Côtes de Provence rosé wines. Its pretty pale colour and aromatic character make it a real gem." A HERITAGE OF OVER 100 YEARS

A heritage of over 100 years of history, the winery was created in 1921 in the aftermath of the 1914-1918 war by a group of women and men deeply attached to their land, their country, and their vines. Since then, it has been in perpetual evolution. The people have changed, the children and grandchildren have taken over, always driven by the desire to do well. Over time, countless changes have found their way into the cellar. Vins de Provence are wines made from blends of grape varieties. This practice makes it possible to have balanced wines, showcasing the qualities of each grape variety. Only white wines escape this rule.
