A great catch with the seizure of 6.4 tons of cocaine in the golfe de Guinée
On July 15 and 16, the Groupe returned to Toulon after 5 months of operational deployment.

Composed of the amphibious helicopter carrier (PHA) Mistral, its embarked tactical group, the La Fayette-type frigate (FLF) Surcouf and the École d'application des officiers de Marine (EAOM), it docked in Toulon after 142 days of deployment. The 640 sailors of the Groupe Jeanne d'Arc traveled nearly 24,000 nautical miles.
This deployment was marked by encounters and interactions with partner navies, notably American, Colombian and Norwegian. The Groupe participated in operations of opportunity, notably with the seizure of 6.4 tons of cocaine in the golfe de Guinée.

This intense mission, rich in operations and cooperation, allowed the student officers to complete their training. It also strengthened the ties between the Marine nationale, the Armée de Terre and their partners.
Arriving at the end of their schooling, the young officers are now ready to take up their duties aboard Marine nationale vessels for their first assignment in a few weeks.
