A space of freedom for the village's youth
On the last day of the school year, the mayor and officials inaugurated the Maison des jeunes, in the presence of many teenagers, the main ones concerned.
Located facing the sea and near the central rescue station, the municipal building has been entirely renovated.
During the inauguration, the mayor recalled the Town's commitment to youth (facilities, equipment, activities, and trips to Londres, Barcelone, New-York). Moreover, the maison des jeunes is intended to be a space of freedom. Other projects are already taking shape, including a rooftop and a private beach reserved for youth.
Indeed, municipal achievements are not lacking, such as the City Stade, the parc du Grand Jardin, the temporary swimming pool, and an educational cycling track. Municipal action has also taken the form of a series of educational activities (educational outings at sea, in the forest, in the municipal chestnut grove, etc.).
Other decisions by the Town include the implementation of the €1 meal for all schoolchildren using school catering and aid for purchasing school supplies. This municipal policy aimed at the development and well-being of the village's children and teenagers.
The objective is also a form of living together, which disappears as soon as we talk about it, with the leisure centre, the Club Ados, and the Lavandou Espace Jeunes (LEJ). Activities supervised by instructors from the youth and sports service and external speakers.
