Le Réal, a centrality that improves the quality of life

An emblematic project, supported by the Région with nearly €200,000, which combines territorial cohesion, everyday ecology, and local services.

Thus, François de Canson acknowledged his attachment to this shared moment: “I am very happy to be among you in Pierrefeu, to inaugurate this district and this Le Réal hub, on behalf of the president of the Région Sud, Renaud Muselier”. IMPROVING EVERYDAY LIFE Much more than a simple protocol event, this ceremony marked, in his view, a turning point for the municipality: “What we are doing today is not just cutting another ribbon. It is giving this territory a real centrality, a new dynamic, and above all a better quality of life for its inhabitants”.

Indeed, this achievement illustrates an approach rooted in equity and proximity: “The Région Sud supported this project with nearly €200,000 in subsidies, because we believe in a simple thing: every municipality, every intercommunality must have the means to build its future. And this is not a slogan: it is a political line”. This orientation is rooted in the regional contract, the pillar of an inclusive and balanced vision of development: “Through our “Nos territoires d’abord” contract, we defend a strong idea: equality between our territories.

Whether you live in a large metropolis, in a medium-sized town, or in a municipality like Pierrefeu-du-Var, you must have access to the same services, the same opportunities, the same ambitions”. Le Réal thus becomes the concrete reflection of this shared ambition. A living space designed for everyone, it integrates diversified forms of housing, urban planning that respects the natural environment, and special attention paid to essential needs: “Here, we create diversity, with social housing, inclusive housing, but also assisted and free home ownership.

Here, we choose everyday ecology, with urban planning designed for the landscape, for respect for the environment, for the quality of life; here, we strengthen essential public services, particularly health, because we know how much it matters to the residents. This is what a useful regional policy is: concrete projects that change lives”, François de Canson pointed out with conviction. FUTURE OF THE TERRITORY Beyond the work, it is a collective method that is asserting itself: that of cooperation between the Région, local authorities, and the active forces of the territory.

The vice-president of the Région continued: “This project would not have seen the light of day without a shared will. That of the local elected officials, that of the stakeholders of the territory, and that of the Région. Together, we carry an idea of Provence: a Provence that moves forward, a Provence that innovates, a Provence that refuses to be left aside”.

Finally, by reaffirming that “the Région Sud is present everywhere, not only in large cities, but also in our municipalities, as close as possible to the residents”. François de Canson stressed the importance of a commitment that is not limited to urban centers but extends to the entire local fabric: “I want to express our pride in inaugurating this district today, and our determination to continue, with you, to build a modern, united, and sustainable Provence”.
