Coralie Garnier, 25, new municipal police officer

A new face within the Police municipale with Coralie Garnier, 25, who has joined the ranks. "A former chief corporal and volunteer deputy gendarme (GAV), she was stationed at the La Londe brigade for four years. I am delighted that she is joining our Police municipale today to bring her experience, her knowledge of the town, its residents and its specific characteristics," explains François de Canson, the mayor.

This reinforcement brings the Police municipale team to thirteen officers, not counting the two public highway surveillance officers (ASVP) and the two administrative employees. "This is the first time we are recruiting a gendarme stationed in La Londe, which will allow her to integrate very quickly into our team to carry out her security missions: neighborhood patrols, road checks, fines related to noise pollution..." emphasizes David Thimmel, head of the Police municipale.

Thus, on October 16, the Police participated in several intrusion alert exercises in the town's public buildings. First at the Moulin-Vieux school, then at the Oswald school and the Les Pitchouns crèche, the "Le Jasmin" multi-reception center and the Relais Petite-Enfance, the church, the Jean-Jaurès school and, finally, the Antone-Bussone school. Needless to say, the recruitment of this female police officer is part of the municipal team's desire to make the safety and tranquility of all a priority: "After quick training, Coralie Garnier will, like her colleagues, be at the service of the residents of La Londe, to guarantee their safety, protect them and support them on a daily basis," concludes the mayor.
