Thus, 550 school children from the schools of the two municipalities and middle schoolers from the 6ème to 3ème classes ran in perfect fair play.
Everyone got involved in this cohesion event as wished by the principal Hélène Pouliquen of the collège Frédéric Mistral. 6ème: Inaugurated 20 years ago in the Bastide Neuve district, the school has a team of PE teachers led by Sébastien Heitzmann, Muriel Kbaier, Marc-Olivier Kennel who managed the competition according to age levels. Between relay races and individual races on the boulodrome, the race saw the participation of CM2 pupils from the Jean Moulin (Bormes-les-Mimosas) and Saint-Clair et Cavalière (Le Lavandou) schools.
At the time of the awards, in the presence of Lionel Marin, Inspecteur d'Académie Pédagogique Régionale, the CM2 pupils received the Winners' Trophy, which will be put back into play next year.
