At the Job Forum, concrete discussions and contract opportunities

Organized at the espace Gérard Philipe by the Mission locale du Coudon au Gapeau, the Maison de l'Emploi TPM, the Bureau Information Jeunesse (BIJ) and France Travail, it brought together more than a hundred contributors (companies, training centers, institutions, etc.), and representatives of the defense and security sectors.

An opportunity for exhibitors to present their job offers and to inform and advise visitors. Throughout the afternoon, more than 600 visitors – high school students, university students, job seekers or people undergoing career retraining – interacted with recruiters and discovered new professional perspectives.

ACCESSIBLE PATHS "We just came to get information and we discovered that there were accessible paths, with or without the baccalaureate," confides Camille, 19, looking for a job without preconceived ideas and, visibly, very interested in the different job offers. "It is a chance to be able to talk with soldiers, police officers and gendarmes and understand the demands of the profession. It is concrete and always complementary to what you find on websites," adds Thomas, who is looking for a stable job.

At the Bureau de l'Emploi, advisors assisted many visitors with resume writing or interview preparation. There is no doubt that this forum helped create a human connection that is all too often missing in online procedures.

In short, an essential event to bring young people, job seekers and employers closer together.

The success of this event demonstrated the economic and social vitality of the area. Finally, this unifying event was visited by elected officials, including the mayor of the municipality, accompanied by her first deputy.
