Honor and proximity at the gendarmerie brigade
During a ceremony, lieutenant d’Harreville took command of the Communauté de brigades de gendarmerie.
On October 9, this powerful moment, conducted with rigorous military ceremony under the authority of lieutenante-colonelle Gaëlle Rouault, commander of the compagnie de Hyères, reaffirmed the fundamental values of the gendarmerie nationale.
Thus, the Amis de la Gendarmerie, represented by Maria Omnes, president of the comité 83-1 du Var, and Philippe Harck, its delegate, attended this command-taking ceremony of lieutenant d'Harreville at the head of the Communauté de brigades de gendarmerie (Pierrefeu-du-Var – Collobrières and Cuers). The entire institution shares these essential values of honor and Patrie, the sense of duty and commitment, discipline, integrity, courage and, above all, proximity to the inhabitants and discernment in action.
Under an autumn sun and in the presence of local elected officials, representatives of local authorities, veterans' associations including the ACSPMG (Histoire et Patrimoine de la Gendarmerie), the Union Nationale des Personnels et Retraités de la Gendarmerie du Var (UNPRG), the 1722nd section of the Médaille militaire and the Souvenir Français, and before the population attached to this institution, lieutenant d'Harreville pledged to be the guarantor of security and exemplarity in the heart of the territory.
Sous un soleil automnal et en présence des élus locaux, des représentants des collectivités, des dont l'ACSPMG (Histoire et Patrimoine de la e 9 octobre, ce moment fort, mené par un cérémonial militaire rigoureux, sous l’autorité de la lieutenante-colonelle associations d’anciens Gendarmerie), l'Union Nationale des Personnels et Retraités de la Gendarmerie du Var (UNPRG), la 1 722ème section de la Médaille militaire et le Souvenir Français, et devant la population attachée à cette institution, le lieutenant d’Harreville s'est engagé à être le garant de la sécurité et de l'exemplarité au cœur du territoire.
The ceremony was an opportunity to highlight the daily commitment of the gendarmes in serving the population and the continuity of the values of discipline, dedication and courage that drive the institution. The civil authorities praised the professionalism of the gendarmes, reaffirming their unwavering support for the action of the gendarmerie, guarantor of the security and cohesion of the territories.
Finally, the Amis de la Gendarmerie sent their congratulations to lieutenant d'Harreville and wished all the service members under his command full success in their missions serving the population.
