The CCAS donates €4,974 to the Ligue contre le cancer!

Indeed, as is the case every October, the Ville adorns its fountains with "pink" colored water, thus marking its mobilization as part of the annual campaign to raise awareness for breast cancer screening. An international fundraising event in the name of research, symbolized by a pink ribbon pinned over the heart, as part of numerous events whose profits are destined for researchers, caregivers, and medical teams. Thus, the traditional pink walk had 228 participants this year on a two-loop circuit starting from the Rose des vents to Saint-Clair and Cavalière. At the finish, €1,143 was collected. Octobre Rose was also marked by the Tennis Club's meetings during a women's padel tournament. It raised €500. And, sailing and gymnastics initiations for adults and children helped raise €231. Finally, the clearance sale at the "soulidarita" cloakroom recorded the handsome sum of €1,148. And the leaders of this association topped it up with sales made during the year to offer €3,000!
