At the Fête de la Soupe de Poissons, conviviality and indulgence

And what better way to warm up than with a delicious fish soup and a generous bowl of human warmth! From 8 a.m., place Flamenq came alive to welcome a new edition of this must-attend event. For the second consecutive year, the Ville, in partnership with the Écogel fishmonger, invited residents and visitors to share an authentic, family-friendly, and gourmet moment.

ART OF LIVING

The day honored the flavors of the sea, local expertise, and the art of living in Provence. Between laughter, exchanges, and tastings, everyone celebrated Mediterranean traditions, marked by simplicity, generosity, and a deep attachment to the land. On the festival program, visitors watched the demonstration and preparation of the traditional fish soup. Fish delivered by scooter by the club des vespas de Toulon. Pétanque competitions and culinary contests – the fastest onion peeler and the best rouille maker – enlivened the morning while the musicians of the group Cosimo Blues set the pace on the square to the sound of good old blues. Both young and old also laughed out loud during the waiter race, a moment of conviviality and entertainment. Under the comforting aromas of the sea and local cuisine, this edition of the Fête de la Soupe de Poissons once again proved that in Le Pradet, conviviality and indulgence always go hand in hand. Participants left with smiles on their faces and warm bellies, already looking forward to doing it all over again next year!
