Stéphane Rénier mobilizes with the Petits Princes
Until December 23, the Compagnons du Goût are mobilized in Var for sick children of the Petits Princes association.
Since 2014, Les Compagnons du Goût, a network of 500 artisan butchers, pork butchers, and caterers selected from among the best in France, have been mobilizing during the Christmas season for the Petits Princes association. Thus, until December 23, solidarity is key in shops with the sale of a bag of chocolate marshmallows for €3, fully donated to help fulfill the dreams of sick children. Enough to melt food lovers' hearts and bring smiles back to the patients!
Meet at Stéphane Rénier's shop at 17 avenue des Martyrs de la Résistance in Le Lavandou. Created in 1987, the association fulfills the dreams of seriously ill children and adolescents. 150 pediatric departments trust the association: on average, more than 7 out of 10 dream requests are initiated by the hospital's medical, paramedical, and socio-educational teams, recognizing the positive impact of dreams on the psychological well-being of young patients and their families.
It is the only association in France to fulfill multiple dreams for the same child depending on the progression of their illness.
For their part, since 1997, the Compagnons du Goût have been established as the benchmark for good taste within the profession of butchers, pork butchers, and caterers. Each artisan is selected for their expertise, dynamism, product quality, and values. Among these, solidarity is essential.
Bringing pleasure while mobilizing makes it possible to give meaning to the Christmas holidays. It is a magical period, just like what a dream can represent for a sick child whose face lights up.
Since 2014, €392,325 has been donated to the association.
