An agreement between the BRF Jacques Stosskopf and the lycée Georges Cisson

Indeed, the Defense Classes constitute a partnership between a school and an entity of the ministère des Armées, aimed at making defense education concrete. Through regular meetings with military personnel, they transmit republican values, raise awareness of defense challenges, and strengthen the Armed Forces-Nation bond. The lycée Cisson, a vocational school, already offers certain students access to the brevet d’initiation Mer (BIMer) in the form of a club. The training programs available are linked to the Marine (Baccalauréats professionnels Electricité, Maintenance des systèmes industriels, cyber/ informatique as well as the certificats de spécialisation (CS) Mécatronique Navale and Technicien en réseaux électriques). The BRF, a modern technological and industrial tool, offers numerous opportunities for integration into the working world at the end of their studies. On November 24, the signing of the agreement in three copies (Education nationale – délégué militaire départemental – association régionale Var-Méditerranée of the Institut de hautes études de défense nationale) and the charter was followed by speeches from the signatories.
