Explore the Var with the Petit Futé!

Since 2021, Petit Futé has given a new shape to this France collection, more dynamic, more interactive, but always focused on the local experience.

In the Var, the 2025/2026 edition of Petit Futé - Var was presented by Laurent Boschero, the publishing manager, at the Domaine de l'Anglade in Le Lavandou. And, as an added bonus, Petit Futé offers holiday ideas, great tips, favorite spots, and cultural and historical insights to discover the Var in all its richness.

Guests discovered the best addresses for idyllic stays and holidays. In a convivial atmosphere, this evening was an opportunity to discover – or rediscover – the Var gems that make up the richness and diversity of our region.

Welcomed by Sandrie Van Doren, Laurent Boschero detailed the guide's content in front of an audience of guests (business owners, producers, winemakers). He revealed the richness of this new Var guide: "Petit Futé is a practical tool designed to facilitate the discovery of a multi-faceted territory, between sea and mountains, traditions and modernity.

"Designed to accompany all travelers, whether they are looking for beaches, authentic villages, or wide-open spaces, this guide offers a clear layout, targeted advice, itinerary ideas, reliable addresses, and useful maps to easily find your way." Thus, from the Mediterranean coast to the Verdon gorges, each area is detailed with precision to allow you to plan your stay with peace of mind, according to your desires and pace.

The south of the Var is the kingdom of sandy beaches, secluded coves, and iconic seaside resorts: Hyères-les-Palmiers, Saint-Tropez, Toulon and its bay, considered the most beautiful in Europe. Further inland, visitors will discover authentic villages such as Le Castellet or La Cadière-d'Azur, steeped in history and Provençal charm.

"In the Haut-Var, the scenery changes: the roads are winding, the forests deep, and the terrain more rugged. This is where the Verdon emerges, a natural jewel with turquoise waters, around the Sainte-Croix lake, a paradise for water sports enthusiasts and grandiose landscapes," adds the director, clearly charmed.
