Dominique Salvany (DomS) in search of the world's beauty

She explains: "I paint a lot of seascapes and, having practiced scuba diving, I have painted a lot of fish." Thus, Dominique Salvany, during her journey to Afrique du Sud, captured the beauty of the local wildlife. Her works, the fruit of her memories and photographs, reflect a deep connection with nature.

PASSION

Since her childhood, DomS practiced gouache, a passion that has never left her: "I have been painting for 30 years," she says. Today, she explores various techniques: oil, acrylic, watercolor, testing every available medium, whether canvas, wood, pebbles, or shells. She has been exhibiting her works since 2004. Her presence on the artistic scene has intensified since her move to Var. An active member of the Atelier d’art londais, she participates every year in the collective exhibition and presented her creations in Bormes-Les- Mimosas. For Dominique, painting is much more than a simple hobby: "It clears my mind, it's a passion, relaxation, an escape," she declares. Her creations, rich in color and emotion, reflect her artistic journey and her quest for beauty in the world around her. Thanks to her overflowing passion and the richness of her inspirations, she invites us to contemplate, through her works, the splendor of nature.
