The command of Commander Pierre-Henri Fichot lasted 17 months, including two intermediate technical overhauls, mine warfare missions in the approaches, an operational refresher course, and a two-month deployment in the Mediterranean.
After the first technical overhaul from October to December 2024, the crew of the Lyre carried out mine warfare missions in French approaches. Once operational qualification was obtained in spring 2025, the crew was deployed for two months in the Mediterranean to strengthen ties with allied navies through various cooperations, before participating in the NATO mine warfare exercise 'SPANISH MINEX'.
After the second technical overhaul from September to November 2025, a mine warfare operation concluded this highly active command. In total, the Lyre accumulated more than 106 days at sea.
CLEMENCEAU 2025 Entering the École Navale in 2013, Lieutenant Commander de Gove chose the operations branch within the surface forces and specialized as a missile gunnery officer. He was assigned as assistant to the head of the Weapons department of the multi-mission frigate (FREMM) Auvergne, then as executive officer of the overseas support and assistance vessel (BSAOM) d'Entrecasteaux-A in Nouméa, where he developed his skills as an officer of the watch.
He underwent his operational officer of the watch training at the École des systèmes de combat et armes navales (ESCAN) starting in the summer of 2020. He then served as head of the Weapons departments of the FREMM Bretagne-A and then of the nuclear aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle.
It was during these years that he acquired his expertise on the Missile de croisière navale (MdCN) and strengthened his experience in aeronaval operations during the AKILA and CLEMENCEAU 25 missions. He was promoted to Lieutenant Commander in May 2025 and then transferred to FRSTRIKEFOR, where he was responsible for organizing the annual naval warfare seminar and preparing the naval force demonstration for the 400th anniversary of the Marine.
He is married and has one child.
