Natascha Rogers in “Onaida” Trio
At the Espace des Arts in Le Pradet, Natascha Rogers delivers an intimate, spiritual album with Onaida, where minimalism becomes an art of healing.

Born in the Netherlands to a Dutch mother and an unknown father of Native American origin, she found refuge in the piano throughout her many moves. Her talent fed on the influences of Chick Corea and Yann Tiersen, until a mysterious gift of congas, left by her father, guided her toward percussion. She then set off on a quest for knowledge in West Africa and Cuba, studying under Manding and Afro-Cuban masters.
Onaida is intended as a gesture of healing and love, celebrating nature, women, ancestors, and the divine. Recorded in a peaceful setting with Joachim Olaya, this album marks a rebirth for the artist, who finds a deep balance within it. A liberating folk round and an inner journey at the crossroads of cultures.
Friday, March 6 at 8:30 p.m. at the Espace des Arts. Percussion, piano, vocals Natascha Rogers – Guitar.
