Thierry Maréchal, elected president of the SNDGCT du Var
Thierry Maréchal, Directeur Général des Services of Le Lavandou, was elected president of the Var department section of the SNDGCT.
Francine MARIE. Directeur général des services of the Ville du Lavandou, he was appointed by his peers to assume the presidency of the Var department section of the Syndicat national des directions générales des collectivités territoriales (SNDGCT). He succeeds Dominique Bertin, Directeur Général des Services of the Communauté de communes du Golfe de Saint-Tropez (CCGST), whom the members praised for his commitment and action in service of the profession.
The SNDGCT is the representative professional organization for directeurs généraux, directeurs généraux adjoints and executive managers of local authorities and their public establishments. It works to defend the professional interests of its members, promote the values of local public service, support executive managers in the exercise of their duties, as well as foster forward-looking reflection on the evolution of local authorities and local public governance.
Through this election, the Var members of the SNDGCT expressed their confidence in Thierry Maréchal to pursue and strengthen the collective dynamic in service of the effectiveness of local public action and dialogue with elected officials, partners, and local stakeholders, in a context marked by strong institutional, financial, and managerial changes for local authorities.
