A project of continuity and dynamism
On March 15, François Arizzi was re-elected mayor for a third term, in the first round with 63.48% of the vote, against Magali Tropini.
Elected for the first time in 2014, François Arizzi thus begins a new term which, due to the national electoral calendar and the 2027 presidential elections, will span a duration of seven years. He managed to convince a majority of voters against Magali Tropini, a teacher and school principal in the municipality, who led the "Bormes au cœur" list. The election was marked by a turnout of 66.51%, reflecting the interest of citizens in this local election. Abstention stood at 33.49%. In this context, François Arizzi's list won 63.48% of the votes cast, while Magali Tropini's list obtained 36.52%. This victory translates into a majority within the Conseil municipal. François Arizzi's team wins 24 of the 29 seats to be filled. The opposition will have 5 seats and confirmed its intention to actively participate in municipal life during the term. On the evening of his re-election, François Arizzi thanked the voters for their renewed trust: "They chose a project, an innovative project once again, a dynamic project for Bormes that will leave no one behind and will be for all Borméens, as we have always done for twelve years."

Catherine CASELLATO, 4th deputy mayor: Culture, musée d’Histoire et d’Art, cultural events. Bertrand NARGAUD, 5th deputy mayor: Security, public peace, fairs and markets. Pascale MAZZOCCHI, 6th deputy mayor: Youth, school affairs, employment guidance area and collective catering. Bernard ROUX, 7th deputy mayor: Urban planning, regional planning, land and environment. Brigitte CASTOR, 8th deputy mayor: Sustainable tourism, shops, crafts, ports and quality of life. Pierre COMBALOT, municipal councillor delegated to General Administration, human resources, and population. The Conseil municipal is completed by the majority councillors: Irène Rombaut, Bernard Baccino, Sandrine Emeric, Philippe Cesari, Séverine Capaldi, Lionel Aubry, Ludivine Puy Martins, Dominique Renault, Virginie Chabas Verlaque, Morgan Samarelli, Marjorie Ques, Marie-Claire Floris, Jean- Baptiste Mazella and Carolie de Vries. The five opposition seats are occupied by Magali Tropini, Antine Solinas, Pia Pizzella and Mauro Altana.
