La Farlède: what will the town center look like in 2031?
The Municipality organized a participatory workshop on July 1 to co-construct the future town center with citizens.
How do the residents of La Farlède experience their town center today and what spaces and services do they dream of for tomorrow? It is to answer these questions that the City has launched a citizen consultation process.
The objective is to imagine and design the face of the heart of the commune by 2031. This initiative places users at the center of the decision-making process to guarantee a redevelopment project that truly matches their expectations and lifestyles.
Strengths and weaknesses
The highlight of this listening phase, a large participatory workshop open to all residents was held on July 1, at the Espace de La Capelle (Salle Mireille-Gamba).
For two hours, participants were invited to express themselves and reflect in a creative and fun way on the future of their town center. The session was structured around several lines of reflection: the analysis of current uses, the identification of strengths to be preserved and weaknesses to be corrected, and above all, the projection into the future.
What businesses, what services, what landscaping or what mobility solutions are desired? All ideas will be welcome to feed the vision of a more attractive, functional, and user-friendly town center.
This general public event was not an isolated initiative. It was part of a broader consultation cycle, led by the Municipality, which will continue until the end of the year. The process has already made it possible to gather contributions from many local actors involved in the life of the commune.
Meetings were thus organized with associations, "ambassadors of transition", as well as young elected members of the Conseil Municipal des Jeunes.
By opening the dialogue to the entire population, the City wishes to cross perspectives and ensure that the future redevelopment project for the town center is the result of true collective intelligence. The contributions, gathered during this workshop, will enrich the diagnostics already established and will constitute an essential basis for drawing up the specifications that will guide the future project managers.
Horizon 2031
The town center requalification project is a major ambition for La Farlède, aiming to strengthen its attractiveness and the quality of life of its residents for the decade to come.
By mobilizing its citizens from the very beginning of the reflection process, the Municipality intends to build a shared and sustainable project, which will shape the daily lives of the Farlédois of tomorrow.
