Le CDG 83 commits to its partners
Le CDG 83 presented its services to public employers at the 9th Salon des Communes du Var in Draguignan.

On the occasion of the 9th edition of the Salon des Communes et des Intercommunalités du Var, held at the Henri Giran complex in Draguignan, the Centre de Gestion de la Fonction Publique Territoriale du Var (CDG 83) once again took part in this key event of local life in Var.
Alongside numerous institutional partners, the elected officials and teams of the institution welcomed visitors throughout the event to present the services offered to local authorities and public establishments in the department.
In a context marked by the constant evolution of local authorities and the expectations of territorial staff, CDG 83 reaffirmed its primary mission: to support public employers in managing their human resources and provide solutions tailored to their needs.

This presence allowed for numerous exchanges with elected officials, general directors of services, human resources managers, and territorial staff who came to learn about the missions carried out by the establishment, whether under its mandatory powers or optional services.
SERVICE OFFER
Over the years, the Centre de Gestion du Var has continued to expand its offer of services to meet the challenges faced by local authorities, particularly the smallest ones. This strategy, led by its Board of Directors, has resulted in a constant strengthening of the missions carried out for the benefit of territorial employers.
In particular, CDG 83 continued to lead the departmental network of town hall general secretaries, now recognized as a privileged space for exchange and sharing of experiences.
The establishment also consolidated its preventive medicine service. Thanks to a multidisciplinary team composed of doctors, nurses, and administrative staff, CDG 83 was able to respond to the growing needs for occupational health monitoring. This dynamic led new structures, affiliated or not, to trust it to ensure the medical follow-up of their staff.
With more than 90 staff members mobilized daily, the Centre de Gestion du Var currently operates in numerous fields related to the management of local public human resources. During the exhibition, visitors were able to discover the extent of this offer that supports local authorities at every stage of their staff's careers.
RECRUITMENT
In terms of employment, CDG 83 continued its actions to promote the attractiveness of the local civil service through recruitment support and participation in various events dedicated to public employment.
The establishment also confirmed its commitment to the professional integration of people with disabilities, particularly by supporting local authorities in implementing apprenticeship contracts.
The Centre de Gestion also continued to provide its expertise in ethics and secularism, through the ethics officer missions intended for both staff and local elected officials. Committed to quality social dialogue, it also continued preparing for the upcoming professional elections scheduled for 2026.

This proximity to local authorities enables CDG 83 to identify emerging needs in terms of skills and professions. In order to support career paths, the establishment organizes competitive examinations and professional exams throughout the year to meet field expectations.
Finally, the Centre de Gestion continued to develop its optional missions: occupational risk prevention, management and archiving support, and the deployment of a custom payroll service. All these actions demonstrate its determination to provide local authorities in Var with practical, tailored, and local solutions.
