An experimental desk to reduce administrative complexity
Région Sud and CCI du Var launch an experimental single window in Brignoles to simplify procedures for businesses.

Inspired by France Services, an experimental single window has been launched in Var to reduce the administrative complexity for businesses, in the presence of François de Canson, vice-president of the Région in charge of economic attractiveness.
The Région Sud and the Chambre de Commerce et d’Industrie (CCI) du Var launched, on July 1st in Brignoles, the "France Pro" initiative. Designed as a single window for entrepreneurs, this initiative aims to drastically simplify their relations with the administration, a major challenge for competitiveness and economic development in the territory.
“The France Pro project has its origins in a strong expectation expressed by the local economic fabric. A survey, conducted by the CCI du Var among 250 companies, revealed a priority need. That is to say, not new financial aid, but a simplification of procedures and easier access to the right interlocutor,” noted François de Canson.
Tired of navigating between platforms, services, and phone numbers, business owners are calling for a more readable, more responsive, and more human administration. The system is inspired by the France Services model, which has proven itself for individuals, adapting it to the realities and constraints of the entrepreneurial world. The objective is to provide clear, rapid, and centralized answers to put an end to the administrative obstacle course.
COMPLEXITY
François de Canson hammered home a central message: “Administrative complexity is not a simple constraint, it is a tangible economic brake. Time lost in procedures translates concretely into postponed investments, delayed recruitment, and slowed strategic projects.”
“'Administrative time' is not 'economic time'. Each week of waiting can represent a lost market or a suspended hiring decision, directly penalizing growth. In a context already marked by international tensions, recruitment difficulties, and the imperatives of ecological and digital transitions, adding a bureaucratic burden is considered a strategic error.”
France Pro embodies a paradigm shift. It is no longer up to the business to adapt to the administration, but to the administration to place itself at its service. This approach, described as a “cultural revolution,” places efficiency and trust at the heart of the relationship between public authorities and economic actors.
A lever for competitiveness
“By freeing entrepreneurs from administrative constraints, the ambition is to allow them to focus on their core business: innovating, investing, and creating jobs. Simplification thus becomes a direct lever of competitiveness for businesses and attractiveness for the territory,” the regional vice-president continued.
This launch is part of the regional strategy “Sud Entreprises”, which aims to support more than 50,000 businesses by mobilizing more than €400 million by 2028. The Région, alongside the State and the CCI du Var, shows a commitment to building a simpler and more efficient ecosystem.
An experimentation with a national vocation
The system inaugurated in Brignoles is an experiment. If its results are conclusive, the initiative, carried out by Var, could inspire other territories and be deployed on a national scale. Thus, a good idea born in a territory is intended to spread to strengthen the whole of the French economy.
