At Accusano park, a successful nature awareness event

On June 7, the parc François-Accusano took on the appearance of an open-air laboratory. On the occasion of the Escale Nature, organized by the Parc national de Port-Cros and the Ville de La Garde, many visitors set out to discover nature.

Young and old alike were present to explore the riches of Mediterranean biodiversity through a multitude of free activities.

Part of the national Rendez-vous aux Jardins event, this gathering allowed the public to understand the links between land and sea heritage, while discovering simple actions to help preserve them.

Fun and educational workshops

Throughout the day, the ecoguides of the Parc national offered workshops. At the various stands, visitors took part in scientific experiments, identified animal feathers and tracks, or chatted with partner associations, including Chercheurs en Herbe and Planète Science Méditerranée.

A life-sized escape game

One of the highlights of this Escale Nature was the immersive escape game offered by the Totem association. A life-sized adventure that appealed to puzzle lovers and families looking for original activities alike.

Meeting the park's inhabitants

Nature lovers set out to meet the park's discreet inhabitants during a naturalist tour led by the S'Pèce association. Insects, bugs, and other curiosities of local wildlife revealed some of their secrets to the participants.

Treasure hunt and collective mural

Another success of the day was the treasure hunt for little pollinators led by the Reconnect Nature association. An activity that concluded with the creation of a large collective mural, blending environmental awareness and artistic expression.
