In Brignoles (Var), France Services will present this Thursday two initiatives for youth autonomy and better access to labour law. The France Services network in Var is preparing to strengthen its action in favour of the most vulnerable audiences. On the occasion of the departmental steering committee to be held this Thursday, June 4, 2026, in Brignoles, two major new initiatives will be officially unveiled. Organized by the sous-préfète of Brignoles and the directrice départementale de l’emploi, du travail et des solidarités (DDETS), this event marks a clear determination to fight against the non-take-up of rights and to facilitate administrative procedures for all citizens.

Fighting against non-take-up of rights among young people

The first axis of this new strategy is an experiment specifically designed for young people in Var. The objective is twofold: to reduce the phenomenon of "non-take-up", where young people eligible for aid do not request it due to lack of knowledge or administrative complexity, and to promote their empowerment. This programme aims to support them step by step in their procedures, whether involving the Caisse d’Allocations Familiales, the Assurance Maladie, job search or the compilation of various administrative files. By making young people more autonomous, State services hope to give them the keys to successful social and professional integration, by ensuring that they fully benefit from the rights to which they are entitled.

INFOTRAVAIL-VAR: a digital platform for employees

The second scheme presented is the INFOTRAVAIL-VAR electronic platform. Developed in collaboration with local stakeholders, this digital tool aims to become the single point of entry for any question relating to labour law in the department. The goal is to offer clear, accessible information and effective guidance to users, particularly those furthest from legal information, whether for geographical, social, or digital reasons. Employment contracts, redundancy conditions, legal working hours, or conflict management: the platform was designed to provide concrete answers and guide employees towards the appropriate contacts.

France Services, an essential territorial network

These two actions are part of the fundamental mission of the France Services network: to guarantee simplified access to main public services across the territory. By grouping State services and their operators in a single location, these one-stop shops play a crucial role in reducing inequalities and simplifying the daily lives of citizens. The launch of these projects in Brignoles, during a press briefing scheduled for 9:30 a.m. in the Salle Polyvalente du Vabre, confirms the continuous commitment of the State to adapt its services to the real needs of the population of Var.
