Centre Hospitalier Toulon - La Seyne: Josée Massi re-elected as Supervisory Board President
On June 25, Josée Massi, mayor of Toulon, was re-elected to lead the Supervisory Board of the intermunicipal hospital.
Josée Massi, mayor of Toulon, who had been chairing the hospital's supervisory board since 2023, was re-elected on June 25. Joseph Mule, representing the president of the Département, was appointed vice-president.
The Supervisory Board, whose members are elected for a 5-year term, participates in the development, governance, and definition of the strategic directions of the Centre Hospitalier Intercommunal Toulon - La Seyne-sur-Mer, the support facility of the Groupement Hospitalier de Territoire du Var.
The establishment's Supervisory Board is composed of 15 members divided into three colleges: local authorities, staff representatives, and qualified personalities.
Representatives of local authorities
The mayor of the municipality where the main establishment is located, or the representative they designate.
A representative of the main municipality of origin of the patients in terms of hospital admissions during the last known financial year, other than that of the main establishment's headquarters.
Two representatives of the public establishments of intermunicipal cooperation with independent taxation to which these two municipalities belong or, failing that, a representative of each of the two main municipalities of origin of the patients in terms of hospital admissions during the last known financial year, other than the one mentioned in the preceding paragraph.
The president of the Département where the main establishment is located, or the representative they designate.
Staff representatives
A member of the commission of nursing, rehabilitation, and medico-technical care, designated by it.
Two members designated by the medical establishment commission.
Two members designated by the most representative trade union organizations, taking into account the results obtained during the elections to the technical establishment committee.
Qualified personalities
Two qualified personalities designated by the director general of the Agence Régionale de Santé.
Three qualified personalities designated by the representative of the State in the department, including at least two representatives of users within the meaning of article L. 1114-1.
