“This tour is an essential summer event”
The free tour “Ça, c’est le Sud” is offering 30 concerts in the region until August 16.
The 4th edition of the free summer tour “Ça, c’est le Sud” is crisscrossing 30 towns in the region until August 16.
Supported by the Comité Régional de Tourisme (CRT) Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur in partnership with the Région Sud, this traveling event offers a series of 30 free concerts, aimed at both residents and tourists.
With an undeniable popular success, having welcomed over 100,000 spectators during the previous edition, the event has established itself as a highlight of the summer season, blending artistic high standards with Mediterranean conviviality.

For François de Canson, president of the CRT Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur and vice-president of the Région Sud, this tour embodies the values of the territory: “This tour has in just a few years become an essential summer event in our region, with more than 100,000 spectators. The Région Sud is a territory blessed by the Gods. Together, residents and vacationers, we share the values that I promote with the Comité Régional de Tourisme! Values of hospitality centered around a sustainable and positive tourism that respects residents and nature. Beyond its popular success, the event is designed as a tool to promote the municipalities visited, reinforcing regional tourist attractiveness and creating social bonds between residents and visitors.”
Iconic program
The 2026 edition highlights popular artists who embody the festive spirit of the region. The public will reconnect with Julie Zenatti, a prominent figure in French song since her role as Fleur-de-Lys in the musical Notre-Dame de Paris over twenty years ago.
“Music is made to bring people together and create moments of sharing. I am very happy to participate in La Tournée Ça c’est le Sud of the Région Sud and to go out and meet the public in these magnificent towns, in a warm, festive summer atmosphere,” confides Julie Zenatti.
The stage also welcomes the Corsican trio Bande à Part, originally from Ajaccio, known for their catchy covers of the greatest hits in a festive atmosphere.
“For us, participating in the Tour means rediscovering the spirit of the great popular Mediterranean celebrations: music, sharing, and lots of energy with the public. We are very happy to meet the residents and visitors throughout this summer tour,” the group emphasizes.
Finally, Le Chœur du Sud, a pillar of the tour since its inception. Founded and directed by Frank Castellano, this vocal ensemble, considered one of the largest in Europe with its 10,000 choir members, performs a popular and intergenerational repertoire.
“Singing brings generations together and creates unique moments of sharing. Participating in La Tournée “Ça c’est le Sud” is a wonderful opportunity to make the region's towns vibrate with the energy of thousands of choir members,” concludes Frank Castellano.
